My Mountain Drawing Test

drawing personality

What does your drawing say about YOU?

Mine said this:
You tend to pursue many different activities simultaneously. When misfortune does happen, it doesn't actually dishearten you all that much. You are a thoughtful and cautious person. You like to think about your method, seeking to pursue your goal in the most effective way. You like following the rules and being objective. You are precise and meticulous, and like to evaluate decisions before making them. You have a sunny, cheerful disposition.

Your picture is great! How'd you control the mouse so well? Yours is the best.

Totally! It doesn't even look like it was drawn using a mouse. Todd's a dexterous man.

aw thanks....comes from years of sitting around at the National Gallery of Art shipping room doing drawings on the computer. I had immense downtime at that job and without that draw program i would have been that much more brain-dead.

Nice blog! When did you see Drunken Boat play?

thanks Todd, i saw your most excellent former band circa 1994 at the old 9:30 Club in Washington DC. I don't remember the other band cause i was there to see you guys. i was so happy that i had just moved to DC and then got to see one of my fave bands within the first couple of months. My wife and sis-in-law crashed the backstage scene and chetted with you all to complete our evening.
i like you blog too and will be checking in often to read some new poetry and stuff.

1994. Yeah, I remember that gig. I think I remember meeting some people back stage, though there is a blending effect that happens as the years go by --doncha ya know?

The Tower Records gig I definitely remember. It was a Soft Skull Press extravaganza poetry tour with Sander Hicks and Cynthia Nelson and a few other lit lights. That was a blast actually because I only had to carry my books (no amps or drum kits!)

I've been re-collecting photos etc of various DB shows because my wife and I had a fire in '03 (our whole block went down) and lost most of our stuff, so if you have any to share, please scan them and send them my way!

BTW: LCD Soundsystem has been rocking my world of late.

Keep up the good work and be well.
