I meant to post this when I took it a few months ago, but I forgot about it. I especially wanted to post it on Facebook, which is where it will go next, for my friend Pia Calderon to appreciate, as well as others.

They formed a nature club, called Go Green, Go!

In their first outing, they combined a dog walk for their two dogs with picking up trash in the neighborhood. They collected 4 grocery bags of garbage, and had such a positive attitude about doing it to help their environment.

Here's the pledge of Go Green, Go! -

Green is my life
Green is my love
Green is the best from head to toe
Now let's say, Go Green, Go

Green is not just a color
Green is also my heart
So let's all be nice
and do our own part

I Walk The Line

About three days a week, I walk a small stretch of track in Beltsville, Maryland on my way to a bus stop after work. I thought it was high time I documented my weekly experience in a photo (for posterity).

The weather was ideal this weekend - mid 70's with a beautiful breeze. We took a walk today and stopped at a playground to monkey around.
