Snow fun continues
Today, after playing in and shoveling snow in the morning, Thea and her Mom went shopping together while Liam and went as a team. When we got back Liam wanted to play in the snow one more time. Just before we went inside, he proudly displayed this giant ice boulder. My big strong

Thea's ambitious art project
On her own, Thea created this poster before she went to sleep last
night. It is inspired by an alphabet song that one of her teachers
taught her and her class.

Elementary Holiday Performance
Thea's school put on a show, with the school band performing some very
short (10 seconds) pieces of music, and then a play acted by the Third
Grade class. Here they are doing The Littlest Christmas Tree. Very
cute, and Thea and Liam liked it a lot, although they got very tired.
Someday, without a doubt, my little cuties will be performing on that
stage. And I'll probably cry I'll be so proud!

Todd the Spaceman
Mr. Rundgren put on a hell of a show last night at Strathmore in Bethesda, Maryland. He opened for himself with Utopia, joined by Kasim Sultan, Roger Powell, both former members, as well as Prairie Prince from The Tubes in place of Utopia drummer Willie Wilcox. Utopia blazed through an energetic set of their well-crafted progressive pop gems. After a short break, Todd and band, including the former, plus the Cars' keyboardist Greg Hawkes, and a sax player and a guitarist both of whom i am not familiar, played the entire 1973 Rundgren album A Wizard, A True Star, and it was quite a multimedia experience with costumes, like the space suit pictured above, theatricality, and great lights, dry ice "smoke" and projected images.
Thanks to my long-time amigo Bob for inviting me, and to his sis Lisa and our friend Nick for being such wonderful company with which to share this spectacular event.
Long Live Todd!!!
(Rundgren....and me, too)
